How They Work?
- Water is piped into your business's sprinkler system mostly from toilets and sinks.

- A fire sprinkler system can contain and may even extinguish a fire in less time than it would take the fire department to arrive at the scene. They are instant firefighters--ready to stop
a fire the minute it breaks out.
- The latest sprinklers are small, inconspicuous and can be flush with walls and ceilings.
- Fire creates a plume of hot air and fire gases that rise to the ceiling and spread out. When the hot gases reach the nearest fire sprinkler, they heat and subsequently melt a fusible element
that holds a cap in place. The cap falls away and the sprinkler sprays water on the fire.
- Installing a water flow alarm on the sprinkler line and having it monitored by an alarm company will summon the fire department and prevent unnecessary water damage.
